Welcome!

Welcome to the Tywardreath Trotter website!

This year’s race will take place on Saturday 27 July.

The fun run will start at 5.00pm and the 7-mile race will start at 6.15pm.
(Note these times are 30 minutes earlier than previous years.)

To enter this year’s race, please apply online via the Cornish Riviera Box Office website

Entries will be accepted on the day but will cost £2.00 more. Also, we’ll be giving runners in the main race a goodie bag including this year’s race T-shirt, but if we run out we can only guarantee these to runners who have entered in advance.

2019 sponsors will soon be confirmed. In the meantime, special thanks to our 2018 main event sponsor, May Whetter & Grose – one of the broadest based Agency and Surveying practices in Cornwall operating from prominent offices in St Austell, Fowey and Polruan.

The Trotter consists of a 1-mile fun run open to all ages and a 7-mile race open to competitors aged 16 or over.

Both races are approximately 50% off-road. Whatever your ability, you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome at this friendly race just a mile from Cornwall’s south coast.
Expect green lanes, picturesque bridleways, some ups and downs and a rousing reception when you arrive back in the heart of the village!

Since 2006 the race has raised over £26,000 for local charities.

The race is Round 1 of the Cornwall Multi-Terrain Race Series and is promoted and assisted by St Austell Running Club.
