You can now enter the main race online here
Please note that if the event is cancelled due to COVID no refunds will be given, but your entry will be rolled forward to 2022.
Fun run entries will only be accepted on the day: fun run starts at 5.00pm, fun run registration opens at 3.00pm. Main race registration open on the day from 4.00pm.
To help reduce our carbon footprint we will not be giving out T-shirts this year. Instead, we will be making a donation to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, who manage 57 local nature reserves, including Tywardreath Marsh.
Thanks to all our race sponsors, including The New Inn, May Whetter & Grose, St Austell Brewery, Trenython Manor, Pipeworx, West Pharmaceutical Services, Coodes Solicitors, Varker Appliances, NE Tyres, Johns Hair Studio, Brocante, Richard’s Fruit & Veg, Imerys and Tywardreath Butchers.
Race venue: The New Inn,
Tywardreath, Cornwall, PL24 2QP.
Part of the Tywardreath Summer Fete celebrations.
The Trotter consists of a 1-mile fun run open to all ages and a 7-mile race open to competitors aged 16 or over.
Both races are approximately 50% off-road. Whatever your ability, you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome at this friendly race just a mile from Cornwall’s south coast.
Expect green lanes, picturesque bridleways, some ups and downs and a rousing reception when you arrive back in the heart of the village!
Since 2006 the race has raised almost £30,000 for local charities.
The race is usually Round 1 of the Cornwall Multi-Terrain Race Series (status of MTRS to be confirmed) and is promoted and assisted by St Austell Running Club.
